Async

Backrooms: Async is a feature length fan edit that reimagines Kane Parsons' YouTube Backrooms series as a single cinematic narrative designed to serve as a prequel to the A24 film. The story is presented mostly in chronological order, with the three Found Footage entries edited and intercut alongside the main Async storyline. Since these episodes were originally self contained, restructuring them allowed me to improve the pacing, reduce repetition, and better integrate them into the overarching narrative.
