After Dawn diagnoses her with an irregular heartbeat, Alex is supposed to be resting up – but before she gets the chance, The Great Randall returns to Hope Zion Hospital after an experimental cancer treatment gone wrong. Meanwhile, Charlie struggles with the implications of his fight with Joel, who is trying to treat a troubled mathematician.
