A struggling gay writer returns to his Catskills childhood home after the death of his disapproving mother. Flooded by memories in a house he hasn't visited in over 30 years, Tobias is forced to reevaluate his life and his alcoholism. After an accident, he embarks on a passionate romance with Adele--a neighbor with family problems of her own. Will Tobias stay with his husband, start a new life with Adele, or, choose his own path?
